Finding Your Starting Point

There are times when we may feel lost or like we are drowning when we love a veteran with PTSD.  This can make it hard to find a starting point.  While there is no magical pill that will instantly make things better, we can help you find a place to start.  There are a few things that we need to know to help us along our journey.  It is important that we understand the Warfighter’s mindset.  Our Veterans were trained to think differently.  This mindset did not go away the day they were discharged.  We need a better understanding of what PTSD is.  We also need to embrace self-care.
